Bed wetting (also known as enuresis, nocturnal enuresis, is mostly found in young children.
Primary enuresis, and diurnal enuresis) is a sleep disorder, and is caused by stressed nervous system and/or urinary system or an undeveloped nervous system .This condition causes the nervous system and urinary system to involuntarily releasing urine during the night hours while the child is in a deep sleep. This problem only occurs during the night while the child is asleep, therefore it has been labeled as a sleep disorder.

According to Research that has been conducted on bed wetting, it has been determined that bed wetting is an inherited problem rather than a sudden development issue caused by some sort of bodily trauma. This is why the problem is less common in adolescents. If this inherited theory is correct, bed wetting will be is discovered within the first five or six years of a young person’s life. In rare cases bed wetting is caused by a non-sleep related problem, and in those cases, the causes are usually diabetes urinary tract infection.
